The timetable for the D-DAY Line is available below.
Between Grandcamp-Maisy and Courseulles-sur-Mer, the D-DAY Line enables visitors to travel along Omaha, Gold and Juno Beaches, allowing you to explore the many sites linked to the D-Day Landings and ensuing Battle of Normandy. This shuttle bus service is easy to use and operates daily from 13 May to 30 September 2024, and at regular times between 9:30am and 6pm. The vehicles are new and equipped with all modern comforts, including wifi, air-conditioning and USB charging points.
Links with Bayeux are possible using coach lines 120 and 121, their timetables specifically planned to link up with D-DAY Line services.
From Pointe du Hoc to Juno Beach Centre, via the American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer, Arromanches with its artificial harbour, and Longues-sur-Mer Battery immortalised in the film, The Longest Day, as well as many other sites, come and discover History that has left such indelible marks on Normandy’s beaches.

You can buy the 1-day package on the bus but the price will be higher than on the m-ticket app or at an official ticket seller.
Routes
- 9.00 am: Leave Arromanches and follow the Vélomaritime towards Port-en-Bessin (heading west).
Enjoy the superb panoramic views of the D-Day Landing Beaches.
- 10.30 am: Visit the German Battery in Longues-sur-Mer. Immortalised in the film ‘The Longest Day’, it is the only German coastal defense battery listed as a Historic Monument whose cannons have remained in their original state.
- 11.00 am: Follow the Vélomaritime again, still heading towards Port-en-Bessin.
- 12.00 pm: Stroll around the quaint fishing port of Port-en-Bessin. The Allied forces made it the first oil port on the D-Day Landing Beaches.
- Lunch break in one of Port-en-Bessin's many restaurants
Option to catch the D-DAY Line to Arromanches - 1:30 pm: Follow the Vélomaritime to Colleville-sur-Mer
- 3:00 pm: Visit the American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer
- 4:47 pm: Catch the D-DAY Line to Arromanches
Possibility of hiring a bike in Arromanches and returning it to Saint Laurent-sur-Mer
- 9.30 am: Visit the Juno Beach Centre in the morning.
- 11.08 am: Catch the D-DAY Line to the ‘Courseulles-sur-Mer – Port’ stop in the direction of Arromanches
- 11.42 am: Get off at the ‘Longues-sur-Mer – Batterie’ stop.
Visit the Longues-sur-Mer Battery and enjoy a picnic on site.
- 1.42 pm: Catch the D-DAY Line back to ARROMANCHES
- 2.12 pm: Get off at the ‘Colleville-sur-Mer - Cimetière Américain’ stop.
Visit the American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer.
- 3.52 pm: Catch the D-DAY Line back to COURSEULLES-SUR-MER
- 4.48 pm: Get off at the ‘Ver-sur-Mer - Paul Poret’ stop.
Visit the British Normandy Memorial
- 5.43 pm: Reprendre la Navette D-DAY en direction de COURSEULLES-SUR-MER

Walk up rue Bernard Dargols towards the American Cemetary .
Visit the American Cemetary (lowering of the flags at 4.30pm) and the Overlord Museum - 6.46 pm: Catch the D-DAY Line back to COURSEULLES-SUR-MER
- 7.03 pm: Get off at the PORT-EN-BESSIN "Cimetière" stop and take the NOMAD Bus 120 towards BAYEUX
- 7.16 pm: Arrive at BAYEUX "Saint-Patrice"

Most car parks at sites are free, except for the one at Cinéma 360 at Arromanches-les-Bains, but note that all of them can fill up quickly.

FAQ
1-Day D-DAY Line tickets are valid for just one calendar day, up until 23:59pm (11:59pm) on day of use.
D-DAY Line 2-day and 3-day tickets can only be used on 2 or 3 consecutive days.
Yes, the D-DAY Line operates every day of the week, from Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays, from 13 May to 30 September 2024, except for Thursday 6 June 2024.
Yes, links are possible with lines 120, 121 and 101 (consult the D-DAY Line timetable on which these links are indicated). Please note, the price of tickets for these additional coach links is not included in your D-DAY Line ticket. So, you have to buy another ticket to use onward services, either via the Atoumod m-ticket app, or at Bayeux Tourist Office.
It is not possible to take bikes on board D-DAY Line buses. However, several bike-hire companies offer bike services covering several points between Arromanches and Courseulles/Mer.
Travellers with a pushchair need to put it in the side baggage-storage hold on the right-hand side of the vehicle themselves and later take it out themselves, ensuring they act safely at all times. They must indicate to the driver when they wish to put in and take out a pushchair.
Regarding any other luggage, please refer to Article 2.8.3 of the regional rules for commercial lines (or Règlement Régional des lignes commerciales).
Guide dogs and service or assistance dogs are allowed on board, on presentation of certification from a canine training school.
Police dogs and accredited guard dogs are also allowed on board as long as they are muzzled and held on a lead.
Most other animals are not accepted on board. Exceptions may be made for small animals that don’t pose any risk (such as little dogs under 10kg in weight, cats, or birds…), as long as they are carried in a cage or basket that can be properly closed. Animals that are specifically forbidden on board include reptiles, insects, category 1 and 2 dogs and exotic pets.
Animals must not foul the bus or cause any inconvenience to other travellers. They must be carried in their cage or basket, on the owner’s knee.
The Transporter cannot be held responsible for the consequences of any accidents that might befall an animal on board, nor for any injury that might be caused to them on board. The owner will be held responsible for any mess or damage caused by their animal.
